Horticulturist Branch is doing its best for management, care, removal and planting various trees. We are specialised in all about trees to be planted and have a good knowledge of the species of trees and the pests and diseases that trees can succumb too. CBG uses specialised equipment and tools which are all certified and tested to use and buy the same from specialised patent companies.
Cantt Board Gujranwala is maintaining one nursery in its AOR. Seasonal flowering Plants (flowering), Evergreen plants & trees,Pilkhan, Bakain,Sheesham, keekar, sukhchain and Ficus are being produced in CBG's Nursery.
All sub-tropical trees & shrubs i.e Alstonia, Amaltas, Sukhchain, Lagerstroemia, Muraya, Jacaranda, Jetropha and Neem are highly suitable for the environment of this Cantonment and some temperate region plants are also successful under intensive care like Pines and Chinnar etc.
Cantonment Board Gujranwala has Planted around 9825 Saplings/plants along different roads and parks in CBG Area in the year 2018-2019.
